What did you get in the mail today?

Thursday, December 6, 2007

It's that time of year, where every trip to the mail box becomes a little adventure. Isn't it fun to check your mail box and find a stack of colorful envelopes with Christmas greetings from all over? When I was a kid, we used to tape a long ribbon around our fireplace mantle and the cards would be taped to the ribbon. It was so much fun to see the "card garland" growing every day.

How do you display the Christmas cards you receive? Post a comment and tell me!

Meanwhile, here is a Christmas card for you. Check back frequently, I'll be posting a new card daily for a week or so, until I run out of cards to show.

Beautiful card--is it the same one that was in the Papercrafts Holiday Cards edition? I don't have it, just looked through it at B&N yesterday. Anyway, I have a big card wreath we put all the photo cards on so we can "see" all our friends and family and when we run out of room on there for cards, we moved the regular cards to a big Christmas basket I have. I too love checking the mailbox this time of year:)

Ahhhhhh!
The card that started the "emerging color technique" craze!!! My all time fav!

I only display the "hand-made" cards now...but the "cared enough to send the 2nd best" cards go in a cute snowman basket.
