Let it Snow... and Snow... and Snow?

Sunday, December 21, 2008

I was dreaming of a white Christmas, but this is ridiculous. Most of it came in 36 hours, and now after a day-long break to get ourselves dug out there's more coming today. Well, it's certainly beautiful! These pictures were taken before the first snowfall finished. Yesterday we had beautiful blue skies and intense cold, but I didn't get out and snap some more photos to share. Wonder why?

Looking down our street:

The steps to the back door on the garage:

James, clearing the driveway. He's already cleared that truck off and it's just accumulating more snow. The 4-wheeler with the snow blade has made James the hero of the neighborhood. He's like a big kid with a new toy.

That snow is beautiful! I love the thick layer on the roof. Most of the time when we get snow, we get the wind with it and it doesn't stay in a nice layer like that! Thanks for sharing.

I'm in Tonasket (about 3 hours North of Spokane). We've been watching ALL the Spokane snow on t.v. YIKES! We've gotten some but NOTHING like what you all have. It's been pretty darned chilly, errrr..FRIGID, here...down to -14 by way of the temperature reading in my car. Brrr. Stay warm!!!!

I love the snow, but I agree, we here in Spokane have been hit with WAY TOO MUCH in such a short time. Glad the kids are finally back in school tho'.
