Joe's a good guy

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Joe Rahn is one of those all around nice people. My husband was in the Montana National Guard with him and they've been great friends ever since. They get together for camping and hunting trips, and Joe's been to our home a few times. Guess I'm not the only person who thinks he's a pretty great guy. Watch this:

Thanks for sharing. I cried... such a great story in a world full of junk, ya know!! I never knew they didn't have anything to sleep on. I know I'll add them to my prayers for such a simple thing to be blessed with...something we take for granted and they see it as such a HUGE thing. What a great gift of kindness this lady has passed along!!
God Bless,

Thank you for sharing this story! I had tears in my eyes the whole way through -- I only wish there were more people in this world like your friend Joe and the wonderful sewing teacher in this story!

Oh Teresa, Tonight I had scrapbooking with you and you told me about this story and told me to watch the video. What a warm hearted story. It made my eyes well up with tears. I just wanted to tell you after you told me the story about your husband being out hunting for elk way far in the wood. Well it reminded of how precious life is, and that every day we live to not take one breath for granted. We just lost a great friend in the past two weeks who was an avid hunter, and fisher. He lived to be in the wilderness. He was fishing out at hauser lake, and died when he lost his fishing pole in the water and jumped in to save it. He had a heart attack. He died doing what he loved none the less. It just makes you realise how precious life is. No matter what kind of day I am having I always try to have a smile on my face. I always kiss John goodbye when he leaves for work in the morning cause you never know when god says its your time. I just wanted to share this story with you. It has been a hard couple of weeks for all of us. Just remeber take it one day at a time and always tell the people that mean the most that you love them each and everyday!
