Clear Top Mini Gift Box

Sunday, October 4, 2009

Need a quick, easy and adorable party favor? How about this mini gift box? You can make four from one 12x12 piece of cardstock, plus acetate sheets for the top. Customize them with your choice of stamps, colors and embellishments. How about wedding favors with an elegant damask patterned stamp, or a teacher's gift with bright primary colors and fun polka dots? The box is 2"x2", perfect for a single chocolate truffle (yum!) or pastel mints, even a small piece of jewelry. Use your imagination and have fun!

Tresa - this is a super cute little box! Really like how you folded it so that the decorative stamping is shown on the INSIDE of the box as well as the outside.

I made these for wedding favors a handful of years ago. I put a bit of Spanish moss at the bottom and a pear scented votive candle in the inside. Added a tag that said, "The perfect 'pear'" with our names and wedding date. They were a huge hit...and rather easy to assemble.
