Easter morning in the woods of North Idaho, the bunny had to hop a long way to find us. Who knew that peeps over the fire could be so delicious? The sugar carmelizes and makes a crunchy outer shell. Like Creme Brulee, on a stick. Mmmm.....
DUH! I NEVER would have thought of toasting Peeps!!!! I hate them fresh! I have to break open the package and let them get stale before I eat them...but I think I might make an exception and give this a whirl!!!
There is something soooo wrong about that picture, but I bet they are delicious! I'll have to go see if I can score any peeps left in the stores and try this.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who roasts peeps!! i love them that way, matter of fact, it's the only way i eat them. :)
