Mystery of the Missing Stamp

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Last night’s ustream class was a lot of fun with a couple of quick and simple cards. I demonstrated a neat-o technique, how to add color and sparkle to Liquid Glass.

Pretty quick Cards!

If you tuned in last night, perhaps you might remember me fretting about a lost stamp. I had it all ready to go, stuck it on the block and everything. Despite my best laid plans, the stamp just wasn’t anywhere to be found. I had to make do without, but it was driving me crazy and as soon as I finished the show I looked everywhere on my worktable, even on the floor. No luck. Woke up still thinking about that darned stamp.

Then I watched my show.

Um…. I found the stamp. missing stamp CU

Tune in next week for the Fabulously Forgetful show.

You are the BEST, and it's always nice to know even Goddesses are human too!!! I usually find mine stuck to the bottom of the stamp pad.

Hi there! I just found your blog and LOVE it! Love the videos! Question- you had mentioned as far as embossing colours you would suggest a metalic and a clear. What is the difference between CTMH clear and CTMH clear detail?
Thanks for taking the time for an awesome blog!
You also mentioned your chat room- where do I find that?

Hi Shannon,
The CTMH clear detail is finer grained, it's great for small, thin lines and words. The regular clear is thicker, I like it for bold images.

During the live shows visit my ustream channel and you can chat with the other viewers. You just need to create a user account, it's free and easy. The chat room is always a party! And I will answer questions from the chatters when I can.

That is toooo funny! I am one of those who can't see things right in front of me, even just two minutes after I had set it down. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Love your rich red and gold card and lover the sweet simplicity of the wreathe card from this week's video!

When you get the January SOTM, can you use it in a project? I'm stumped with it. I get such creative ideas from you!!!

Thanks for ALL your posting, sharing, and help!!!

I loved that. I have found stamps and not no where they go? And I have a lost stamp I put somewhere so I could put it back later. Now I can't remember where I put it. I kinda remember putting it in a tin. Not any that I have looked in so far so maybe not.
It was great fun.

ROFL... The missing stamp is right up there with glitter dog LOL. I LOVE the simple, but elegant and beautiful cards. Every year I think I'll follow that rule, but end up with multistep monsters like this year. Keep up the inspiration!
