BUNNY HOP-1

Design Team members for Lindys’ Stamp Gang are having a Bunny Hop! You’ll find lots of inspiration and plenty of how-to’s, all using Lindys’ Stamp Gang products. You can hop from blog to blog using the thumbnails at the bottom of this post.

verdigris card

This card was the result of a happy accident… I mean discovery. I wanted to match my Close to My Heart color palette with my LSG products. Thank goodness for the charts here and here.

verdigris card-1

I happen to have the Sea Mint Green Starburst Spray, and it’s a great match to the Olive Cardstock from Close to My Heart. Here’s where I had the accident (I mean discovery): I sprayed the Sea Mint Green Starburst Spray onto Cocoa Cardstock and it looked so much like aged copper that I decided to design a whole card around it.

I used the Cleopatra Copper 2-toned embossing powder to stamp the bicycle from “Enjoy Life” stamp set and added shiny copper brads to repeat the copper theme. The papers and matching accents from the Lucky collection look great with this technique, don’t you think?

I got so excited, that I forgot I was supposed to design a spring-time theme card for the bunny hop. Oops.
