Things are getting a little strange around my house.
If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know that I dabble in many different forms of art, not just papercrafting.
I’ve been facepainting for over five years, and I took a big leap out of my comfort zone and auditioned as a makeup artist for Scarywood, a huge professional theme park. I’m so excited to tell you that I got the job!
I hope that I can share some of my behind-the-scenes experiences at Scarywood. I know I’ll be plenty busy in the month of October making the actors look their worst.
I also am still serving as the creative director for our middle school haunt, which is a really large haunt for a small school. We have over 100 actors and workers in our City School haunted house, it’s quite a monster undertaking as we transform the entire two-story 100 year old building.
With such a busy schedule to look forward to, by the end of October….. I hope I’m still smiling.
