Best. Year. Ever.
Truly, I can’t begin to tell you what an awesome time I had at Creative University 2014. Friendships, artwork, food and creative inspiration, it was perfect.
So perfect in fact, we seem to have forgotten we are scrapbookers with cameras. I did not take a single photo, and there were remarkably few cameras clicking away at our retreat. We were too busy having fun! Thankfully, I have all the artwork that I created for the classes, so I’ll be posting the class projects over the next couple of days.
This card above is from the Page and Card class. All students created a double page layout and one card in this quick and simple class. No crazy challenging techniques, just good design and color balance. I used Skylark paper packet and the hello stamp is from the Cricut Artiste collection.
The layout pages also used Skylark B&T. I added Chocolate, Crème Brulee, Sweetleaf and Lagoon cardstock, plus Outdoor Denim cardstock was sanded for a distressed look. Stamp sets are True To Life and Believe in Yourself.
I’ll be sharing more artwork soon. For now, enjoy something that we DID seem to take lots of pictures of….
